You mean the bifocal on the "outer rim" of the lens for closer vision. Hand raised. Just like you see the classic older lined bifocal glasses, periodically you see my tilting my head up/down to get increased close-up power. Similar to what was written about the progressives, as long as your contacts are fitted well to the center of your eyeball, it works rather well.
For reference, I have -4.00 with a +1.25 on the outer edges.
