Odd...we are on iX #4 since it launched and in total, we have done maybe 2 iDrive reboot! While I am bummed iDrive 8 is DOA and not upgradeable, I find it to work fine, not laggy and in general I am totally fine with it. I still prefer the look of iDrive 7, but 8 has been very reliable for us!
