Would love to speak with Dingolfing managers and see how the allocation for a certain market is done. For eg, is a certain day production, say Monday , all the vehicles are for USA/CANADA and Tuesday for LHD market EUROPE , Wed for RHD UK, Singapore ,Malaysia, Australia,NZ. It might not sound efficient this manner due to imbalance sales volumes in each continent but for quality control and pointing out problem areas this might be easier.

Hugo share this information previously. I believe all of the US-based head units are made by Alpine. Considering my previous experience with Alpine, this is a very plausible explanation.
