Also don’t you think it would be very straightforward to retrofit? Even Teslas have simple kit convert older pre-2019 Teslas do not support NACS because it uses the CCS protocol. But they have an inexpensive retrofit kit you can buy and handy people can even swap it out at home!
In short, don’t hold up buying a car today because of a simple connector.

Good argument. My thought process is wait until you can access the Tesla SC. Not sure what the timetable is. More than that, adapters are suboptimal. Don’t know the technical details, but when I used an adapter for Tesla to a 3rd party charger it was 4 mi/hr rate of charge. I also believe BMW will dramatically improve their battery tech by 2025. I’d rather have the proper, new and integrated NACS.
