Could you point us to some on those guides? I understand they can be easily Googled, but the issue is that without prior expertise, it's hard to tell good guides from bad guides.
If you can point me in the right direction, I would be happy to write a detailed guide for this forum. I'm very interested to explore this and enable anti-dazzle lights and disable disclosures. Bimmertech can do this for a fee, but a bit of a hassle to work with them for every OTA.

I'm pretty sure this is a VO Coding guide I wrote about 6 years ago, which can't be used for this exact process as you don't have the relevant CAFD files in PSdZDATA to code to VO each ECU, so you will need to write the VO to the car, to rely on the OTA update to do the VO Coding in the future.
Simply for this task @ step 5, remove '5AP, ' save and follow the rest of the guide to write the VO to the car
After Step 7, do the following:
Under VCM on left panel-->VCM Master-->Write FA FP after editing the original FA. Locate the file saved from previous step and Write FA FP
