Upgrading from HK S688A to ?
I bought my car with the high end sound system for that model year (S688A Harman Kardon Surround Sound system) because audio is important to me, but like most of us know the overall sound and especially the bass performance is underwhelming. I want to upgrade but I’ve read that upgrading just the speakers won’t be much of an improvement because the HK amp isn’t that good.
If possible I want to keep the functionality in the iDrive system intact. I was looking at BimmerTech’s Alpha One amp and speakers but they seem a little expensive at $2k just for an amp. Maybe I’m wrong and that’s a good price? I’m not seeing other options at better prices.
What are some of the good options for the F34?
