Jumping back up a bit... My hunch is that GM's delay is largely on GM's side. They are a software dumpster fire and dealing with many problems in their Ultium platform. So, I am watching the next round of automakers (Nissan, Volvo/Polestar, M-B) for clues about progress that can lead to our BMW guesses. Also, I am watching Hyundai Motor Group to see if they leap forward from 2025. Rumor is that HMG will be rolling out cars with NACS ports in 2024.
If the delay was primarily on GM's side, they would have skipped them and gone to the next OEM in line, no?
