This was pretty exhaustively debated in another recent thread. My take:

The tariffs are uncomfortable and unpredictable and making it difficult to make a car buying decision in the short term.

For those who are trying to make a decision today, I would pull the trigger as quickly as possible. It seems far more likely that prices would go up in the short-term, so buy ASAP.

For someone who might be thinking about ordering a BMW, and the price would be on the edge of their budget, I would not order. Instead, shop something cheaper or unlikely to increase in price between now and arrival.
