Hmm, not sure you can replace just that. I have a -23 e40 M-sport and I think it has the same type as M50.
The metal part in the middle started to come off, which was really annoying when the shoe got caught on the metal piece.
I had it fixed on warranty and they replaced the whole carpet on the driver's side.
That was apparently the smallest replaceable unit according to BMW.
