Scientists are just going crazy pushing limits and I'm sure somebody out there is already developing Terminators. It's so obvious we are going down the path of Judgment Day but unfortunately, it cannot be stopped.
If you live only 5 more years, some predictions for AI enabled robots will have them in many fields (finance, medicine, manual chores, etc). 10-15 years it is a whole different world. I’m not smart enough to evaluate the timing predictions (historically predictions are optimistic), but whatever the timing this is coming very quickly.
