Thanks for the ideas. I am laughing every time I see this thread because I started it at 3 in the AM due to a small animal (kitten) that decided I had to get up and I was sleep deprived. Xi sounds more like a Chinese prime minister than a car.
OK On suggestions so far. Buick has everything right except it isn't an EV so far as I can see. Truth be told it is perfect except my wife cares about the badge on the car.
On the Honda/Chevy interesting you mention those. I saw a Blazer parked next to the golf course yesterday and it looks really good. Again though wife unit might kibosh that without a Prada line.
I am not a big fan of Merc right now as it seems they want at least $10K more for the same vehicle as BMW or Audi. My sister has a top of the line EV Audi SQ8 Etron and I liked it. Wife unit might be an issue again as her last car before we dropped down to a single car family was a Q3 and she thinks they are all not luxurious enough. Hey, I married for her looks and work ethic not her brains.
Would love hearing if anyone has one of the Cadillac.
And good info that leasing is a better decision. Think I might chase down that rabbit hole. I need to investigate what to look for regarding buy out at the end etc.
