Ford's marketing department has asked for the GT500 to have more than 707 hp. I bet they get it.

Rumor/speculation that SRT did look at FI for the Viper. I bet the bean counters killed that off.
You can put all the HP you want under the hood, it won't matter much if you can't translate that into traction. Ask any Hellcat owner, they'll tell you all about that.
