The problem was the powertrain and price. They should have gone full EV or full gas. Either make something as revolutionary as Tesla or give us a proper sports car. Instead they got too cute and it bit them in the end.

Electric golf carts have been around for many years.
A carbon fiber hybrid like the Porsche 918, Ferrari SF 90, or the Koenigsegg Regera at a price you can afford. That’s revolutionary.
Haven’t seen any Teslas on the race track either.
