This was a freaking expensive learning exercise.
The "entire new philosophy" taught me where you will end up when you have a great design with a light body material but you are putting a drone motor inside.

Put in a twin turbo V6, make a nicer rear bench instead of those rear carpet patches, make it affordable -as it is nowhere near a $200.000 competition- and it might sell.

You might have a better chance with a very powerful 4 banger that will make over 350 HP if you can, as it will sell in Europe as well benefiting from the low tax system if doesn't exceed the 2000 cc.
Without heavy batteries and electric motors, a small but very powerful NA engine only with a better interior will make it cheaper and more attractive financially.

Or,

Keep that mix and match and call it the next i8 failure.
