Yes (powered by the traction battery). Strictly speaking A/C efficiency in a gasoline-powered car and an EV is actually fairly comparable, however, in general a gasoline engine is only about 1/4 as efficient at producing the same power as an EV battery, so the A/C on an ICE vehicle uses up more available mileage in operation, if that makes sense.
