I have non polarized sunglasses especially for the car since ages and switch as required because otherwise I prefer polarized. Polarized glasses can in certain angles to the windows and windscreen also cause a loss of visibility. They are in any case not suitable for driving, or flying where it is part of the exam questions to understand the risks of polarized glasses in cockpits.
