At 9:40 you see all the components in the frunk area, for anyone too lacy to sit through the whole video.
It seems like it's a lot of battery management ECUs, other automakers have that stuff integrated into the battery pack. If you would remove all of it there certainly would be enough room for a small frunk. Doesn't look too dense either... And it looks like there's a solid 15-20cm of empty space between the front and the radiator.
