I agree. I prefer a modern looking car with innovative tech.
The i4 is a HUGE disappointment as it looks like a 440i with a battery pack slapped on. Completely BORING!!!
The iX at least is unique though it is still far behind other electric vehicle. I hope it's not going to be another case where BMW thought it's the best thing since slice bread only to be mocked by Sandy Munro.
