The Chicago “L” is free starting at 10:00 until 4 AM. I’m a tad concerned about riding it just after midnight. I imagine there will be at least 100k people downtown. When it’s over I will walk from the river down State Street to the south side of the loop to the Harrison stop to avoid the crowds and be able to get to sit down. At least half of those 100k people will all try to get on the train at the State Street station, because it’s the one closest to the river.
