The iX xDrive50 is USD 120K fully loaded, before taxes. At least that's the price here in Norway, where electric cars are exempt from any kind of taxes and fees. The xDrive 40 is 97K, fully loaded as well.
Having seen the car in person yesterday, I'd say wait until you can see it in person and maybe even test drive it before you commit to buying one. This is not your typical BMW, and it's a far cry from the X5.
