Im in EU, so I think here German car markers will have smth they agree on.

I think there is a desire to make good quality sustainable batteries (like sourcing cobalt in europe). Technology keeps improving and you want to have extended warranty...

I was also told some Taycans had electric gremlins and couple had batteries replaced when they first came (by dealer), and the replacement batteries were right away like 50km more range. And Porsche told me that they are super chill on worries about batteries as warranty is very good and worth taking.

IX I think will be solid with its range and warranty. Would not even worry about it.
