You can't bring a high-efficiency model yesterday and something similar tomorrow, that may be a few tenths of a second faster (and still not fast enough against a P85) and won't even come close to the i8's extremely low fuel consumption. What would you prove with it?
The next step is logically a fully electric model, but there is currently no money for it, regardless of Corona. This money is now required for the transition of production in the mass model segment (expansion of Dingolfing etc.).
Already when they first released this study, I knew this is only a pure marketing driven concept but nothing substancial. No specs, not even raw specs as with the Vision Efficient Dynamics back in 2009.
