Snap oversteer is the boogeyman of aimchair accident analysis. Everyone says it, but no one actually knows what it looks like (unless you're a fan of vintage Porsche racing).

Look at the damage under the front of the car. The driver was going forward and hit something that ripped apart the underside. Snap oversteer would have caused a spin, usually resulting in an impact at the side or rear of the car. If anything, I'd say the car understeered and slid in to something head on.
