Really? Track events require windows down? Is their enough aerodynamic drag with the windows down that it can affect the outcome of the race?
Yeah i think he's talking about small local track events.

Because anywhere i have ever raced, including running the 1320 1/4 mile, officials require the windows be up for proactive safety reasons.

Aerodynamics a slight byproduct.
