i8 Returned to dealer

HI Team i8

So, turns out the Ionic Silver LCI I purchased, seems not to be an LCI model after all...

On receiving the car on Wednesday, I noticed a few things:

1) Air Intake on bonnet not revised version
2) Car was NOT running iDrive 6 (no tiles) and did not offer Apple Car Play. Phoning the BMW Connect team resulted in them telling me that this was not supported on the car, even as a paid feature.
3) No 'Coupe' badge on the side
4) I couldn't tell whether or not the car had the upgraded battery but fully charged it showed an electric range of 18 miles (which I believe is about what the pre LCI cars give?..)

BMW said the car was listed as having the 11.7kw battery. But my understanding is that if that were true, then it should be the LCI model with all the above LCI features (Car Play etc) which it doesn't have.

Nobody at BMW can give a straight answer about whether there exist any versions WITH the increased battery capacity but WITHOUT the other changes that the updated car has.
The car was very definitely presented as an LCI version and given that it seems not to be one, the dealer has agreed to take it back.

Would be really interested to hear from owners here who have LCI cars:
Do you all have iDrive v6 with Car Play?
What range does a full charge of the battery show?

In the meantime, the search for the right car resumes!
