I'm sorry but what do you love about it. It doesn't look functional at all. Every climate button is gone, you have to press MENU to change the fan speed or turn on seat heating. All the iDrive buttons are capacitive with no dividers between them, how are you supposed to navigate that soup while driving the car without looking down and studying it? Real buttons with different shapes and textures are like that for a reason, so you can grab it and use it effortlessly.
Nothing here is really an upgrade over what we have in current cars, they just put the screens together with lots of black space around them, it doesn't look natural at all compared to current cars with the recessed instrument screen and the infotainment screen that kind of springs out of it. |
Yeah, you're right! It's not an easy set up. I just liked it because it looked very clean and minimalistic just by looking at it. |

Super cool tech… You'll get used to the new buttons really quick
