Might want to consider Cybertruck

I have a Rivian on deposit. 400+ range and exactly what an EV SUV should be in terms of performance, luxury and capability.
I have a deposit in the Hummer EV 3X, not sure I will go forward with it, as other new EV SUVs will be out by then (2023) but it is way better looking than this iX. The Rivian looks nice, want to see reviews and sales before putting down a deposit on an entirely new vehicle from a new company.
I thought the same but with Ford building the F150 on the Rivian's platform and Amazon ordering 100,000 vehicles with 10,000 already on the roads and Rivian being a 10 year old company, it gave me some reassurances.
Amazon as well as Ford are invested in Rivian

It is probably the best truck you can choose

Yes, I was aware about Ford and Amazon. However Ford is no longer using the Rivian skateboard on their new EVs and they are no longer doing the rebadged Rivian as a Lincoln EV either. Both of those things give me pause. I actually prefer the Lucid Air and their tech to Rivian, but they are even more vaporware at this point.
Is not related to any concerns on the durability or reliability of the platform.
