It's an entertainment business. Russell would be great, give him a shot. Merc is all but guaranteed constructors' championship through '21. Why not up the interest and viewership with teammate vs. teammate racing? As a brand/marketing exercise, how is this not preferable? My 12 year old can't be the only one finding it unwatchable. HAM vs. BOT does more for Merc than (hypothetically) HAM vs. VER, ALO, etc.? Can't be.

'21 will be 5 years of watching Hamilton unchallenged by the same teammate. I mean, come on...
