Yeah, only the most hard-core of the hard-core ride in the winter here. And usually just briefly during warm spells. The roads are actually clear right now, but the piles of sand and salt lurking at the intersections would ruin a ride really quickly. Not worth putting the insurance on it for a day or two of riding. Of course, there are the folks who do ice racing on spiked tires. They're a particularly twisted lot.
