I suppose bigger is usually better, but the way I saw it, I actually have two 18" cooking surfaces since I can two sets of half moons on top of each other. I don't regret getting the Classic II whatsoever. I started my fire yesterday around 11am, make breakfast (OK, a very late breakfast) and when it was time to get dinner going, the Joe was still at 200F. All I had to to was add more more lump charcoal and I was set for making dinner.

I'm upset I messed around with Weber kettles for so long.
