I'd love a PP too and I agree Rolex prices have risen out of reach of old Rolex pricing. The new Explorer is a ton of cash. It has the new Parachrome hairspring but its still way too much. Its as much now as my old Submariner was.
If I spent big money I'd get a PP. The watch is timeless.
