Just FYI, I dropped my X5 off at the local dealer today for routine servicing, and while waiting for my loaner car, I got into a conversation with the service advisor. When he asked about my next car and I told him I have an i8 on order, the sales manager, who was nearby, perked up and asked what I was paying for it. When I told him MSRP, his jaw dropped. He went on to say that they will be getting one car, and not until December. They will be asking MSRP
+ $100K for the car and he expects they will get it.
