I've specced my 720S with weight reduction in mind e.g. no electric seat adjustment (12kg saved); super lightweight wheels (12.5kg saved) etc etc.
I wasn't as thorough as I thought when I wrote that review. As well as cupholders, I omitted to mention the gearbox, which is divine. Very slick, rapid, perfect gear shifts. As good as any I've driven. |
Wow, 800 grams savings for the cupholders. I'm taking them out of my i8 as soon as it arrives. I also don't need the iPhone docking insert, so that should shave off at least another 50 grams. I'm thinking 0-60 times should shrink to low 3's with these weight savings
