I want to participate in one of the closed course road races in the US. Sandhills probably. It's the closest to me.
I would love to get to something like the Summer Nats in Australia or Gatebil in Norway, But I've never flown and I'm afraid of heights. So those things will be really tough for me to do.

Consider the Outlaws at Eldora. Or the Knoxville Nationals or Chili Bowl. The great thing is it's up close and personal and a way different crowd than you'll find in Monaco. <G>
And of course there is nothing like the Daytona 500, the 24 hour at Daytona or the Indy 500.
You will enjoy any of these. For me just being at the track is therapeutic.
