Drunk drivers......
Remember being on a call for one. Thankfully, she was the only person involved in the wreck. She was also being pretty belligerent with us. The medic was starting an IV and told me to get a large bore catheter. If you've never seen one, the thing looks like a harpoon. We only really use those when we're trying to push a lot of fluids into someone. And when we have unruly patients. It was hilarious when the medic shoved that thing into her arm. She immediately clammed up.
