Sharing my experience.

Early June 2021, in market to replace 2 cars, 1 and 2 series, we locked-in 2 cars in stock.

Next day as we negotiated terms, cars were gone.

Another dealer the following day, locked another 2 cars; one 2 weeks away, the other 2 months away.

During this cycle, the following options became unavailable:
Contactless Boot Opening deleted
Wireless Phone Charging deleted
Passenger Seat Lumbar Support deleted
Driver seat lumbar deleted
M-sport seat deleted
HK Audio deleted

And as dealer said, full showroom, no cars.
