I've been waiting for a full size BMW EV for far too long. I hope it has some form of autonomous driving aids, i.e. "Autopilot" like the Teslas. I also hope they don't try to price it like 80-90k b/c that is not going to compete with the Model 3 in any way. If BMW has learned anything from the i3, just b/c it has a BMW badge on it, doesn't mean its going to just fly off the showroom. The i3 was priced about 10k (before rebates) more than what most people would want to pay for a short range EV. If this one could go at least 300 miles and have respectable specs similar to a Model 3, then I would definitely consider it.
Hopefully they don't take the grille too far b/c the reception has been overwhelmingly negative and BMW should incorporate any redesigns now before they launch. Its clear not many are fans of the oversized grilles.
C'mon BMW, make me want this. Make me want to blow money on your cars. Swallow your pride and listen to your fans.
