This is my pet peeve. I intentionally park as far away as possible and I now take up 2 spots. IDC if I look like a douche anymore, I'm tired of fixing door dings. I especially hate when a car parks next to me when there is an entire parking lot available. I will say, however, that I do take advantage of nicer cars when the lot is full. I will park between 2 nice cars hoping that the owners are as responsible as I am when opening doors.
I have to also admit that I have and will continue to slash tires when people hit my car with their door.
