So, we took in 4 bikes, and are fixing 2 of them. The TREK is an aluminum 1500, needs a new cup on the rear, and a bit of TLC. Shop says we can get out for under $200, so the kid is going for it (with his money)
The other little BMX bike needs some new shoes, in for about $40 then I already have someone who needs it for a raffle. Paying it forward so the TREK ends up good for my son.
The best of the remaining 2 needs about $175 worth of tune-up. My son is learning to be nice, so he notified 2 buddies who are a lot taller than he and can sit this one, that he will give to them if they take it in to get fixed.
The last one will end up on a scrap truck soon. . .
