I learned about a free editing software here so thanks for those that contributed.

I use iMovie and Final Cut Pro. iMovie was free when I bought my MacBook, and I believe both only exist for Mac OS, so you'll need to use that OS. I like final cut, it's very simple to use and very powerful too (I use 10% of its features).
