I have no trouble whatsoever getting in and out. I have never understood this criticism. Unless you are way out of shape or extremely large all it takes is the right technique. My wife and adult children have no problems either. I don’t give it a second thought.
As for practically, I use it for shopping and errands all the time. The trunk is tiny but there is the very useful back seat. I do most of my local driving in electric mode which is another bonus.
I love the car.
