I said NJ has the highest population density. And he mentioned "NYC", which is a city, so I listed those as well. NJ wins in state and city categories.

Which is pretty much a nonstarter statement anyway for two reasons:
- State vs. city (duh ... been established)
- 7 of the top 11 most densely populated incorporated areas are in New Jersey but are part of the New York Metropolitan Statistical Area.
(I mean, sheesh: Jersey has the Jets AND the Giants, and the MetroStars/Red Bulls ... yet they're 'New York' teams? That's a generations-old WTF? right there ...)
So, let's just say you're both sorta-kinda right and get back on topic ...
