I go to Manhattan for business about 3 times a year, although haven't yet done so this year.

It's usually a really busy trip and I like to be in walking distance of the office, so I tend to stick around there (staying in one of the hotels near the Freedom Tower). I did wander around TriBeCa a couple of times on my last trip and found some more interesting bars/restaurants.

Any tips from locals or regular visitors on some good places to eat or drink in walking distance of the Freedom Tower? Failing that, a simple subway trip away. I can't be bothered spending too much time travelling; would rather be walking when I am away for work.
