I was interested in some of the nice touches and the full leather with the Pure Impulse, the interior ambiance lighting package, leather engine cover, embossed i8 in headrests, and other similar details. Will that all be standard on the US i8, or it will be part of the top package? Will be interesting to see.

Upon re-reading the global press release, I found this note in rather small font at the bottom of the first page:
"
Note: The equipment described refers to the specification for the German market."
At least that gives us some hope that what we've heard about the U.S. cars being fully equipped may still be true.
