Most of all I hope he recovers, whether he gets to play football again or not.

I didn't see it live, but him playing shouldn't really be something to criticize unless his ankle didn't allow him to avoid the hit that dislocated the hip. Two different injuries. He looked rusty in first half vs. LSU so I can see why he and Satan would want to give him some playing time. I don't think you play starters only in tough games if they are ready to play. They play whenever they are healthy enough to play. As stated, hindsight is 20/20 so there will inevitably be questions about it.

Separately... nice comeback by OK.
i get playing your starters in every game, but tua has been dealing with injuries the last month or so. Vs an opponent like Miss St, maybe trot him out there to get up a couple scores and then pull him. Let him recover. Whether the ankle affected the hip is irrelevant. Everyone was saying to take him out of the game. Even the broadcasters said it before the injury that they were surprised hed leave his injured qb in. Tua took some hits and was slow to get up a couple times.

This isnt the BCS Computers anymore picking the champ, its a committee that looks at things like if your starters played the entire game in a close game or not.

And yeah, it would be nice if OU could stop with these last second late games. I cant take the stress anymore.
