Indeed...I think the Verstappens are smart enough to realise that its likely (not certain but a high probability) that Hamilton would be faster overall than Max at Mercedes.
Being beaten by Hamilton at Merc would heavily devalue Verstappens reputation.
Better being the unopposed #1 driver at Red Bull than be the "Bottas" at Merc.
Plus why would Merc take Max when Lewis is currently untouchable.
The reverse grid qualifying idea sounds fun if a little Hollywood.
