This is intriguing. Although this isn't the first time we've heard references to a new platform in conjunction with iX, it appeared this was simply BMW being liberal in how they characterize CLAR-WE. The proportions of the vehicle, which have been apparent from spy shots for years, are similar to BMWs ICE SUVs, further bolstering this idea.
However, here they seem to be aggressively setting the tone from the start of the press release that this is an all-new architecture. It'll be interesting to learn more details.
