I'm sure most i3 buyers don't buy for cost savings at £0.02 / miles vs. £0.12 / mile it would take 100,000 miles to save the £10k extra you pay for the i3 and thats assuming the batteries last that long.
I bought it for its tech and great fun to drive
Same for the i8 arriving soon at half the cost I could get a car equally as quick
