as for street car vs track car... The GT3 is the streetable version. The RS is the track car. Chris Harris daily drives a touring (wingless GT3) as well as many other people. the RS has very stiff suspension by comparison.
the demand is also there for the street car. Tourings are getting 15-30k over msrp on resale. GT3RS are going for 30k below sticker now.

The Touring is just more rare and harder to get hence the higher price.
Nobody dailys these cars - let’s be real here. This is somebody’s 3rd to 10th car. Taking it to work on Friday- doesn’t mean its a daily. Chris Harris has a job which involves driving cars so for him it may make sense lol.
