And this is where you should prove him wrong by showing up with a different branded car.
I really respected BMW as a brand up til 2 years ago. They weren't perfect and they had hiccups but overall their portfolio was an enthusiasts dream.
Now look at it. Bunch of heavy, numb, huge, SUVs, GTs, FWDs, automatics with questionable styling.
I hope all of you that say you don't like what BMW is doing now, don't go out a year later and buy one because "it grew on me"
Personally I was really looking forward to getting into a new 3 or 4 series as a daily, but I'll be looking at used F3x or older and Audi/Merc now.
